Assay Hallmarked Silver 16” Belcher TBar Necklace & Sandcast Scallop Shell

Reminiscing about far off places where the sea laps upon the sand and the sun is always shining. This 16” belcher chain with oversized T Bar might just be the thing you need to keep those memories alive till it’s summer again. I have attached a cute oval
pendant which I have made by hand from a slice of scallop shell which I have used to make a mould with delft casting clay before making a replica using molten sterling silver. 
It’s a stunning everyday chain which bears my full official London Assay hallmark on the tag near the ring fastening. It’s a nice weight so it that looks fabulous worn on its own but also perfect when layered up with other pieces of jewellery to keep that summer vibe going. 
The Tbar fastening is nice and big. The bar is 31.09mm long and 2mm thick. The ring is 15.8mm outer diameter. The solid silver cast scallop pendant is permanently attached to the ring and is roughly 29.5mm long by 20.3mm wide and 2.5mm thick. Its patterned on both sides in the same way the original shell would have been. 
 
The necklace is 16” long and weighs 23.5g. 
As with all my cast items each piece is made from solid silver, each is unique and any blemishes add to the character of the piece and is completely one of a kind.
