Assay Hallmarked Silver Carnelian & Chunky Curb Chain Necklace 18”

A very large oval carnelian doesn’t just hang from a chain, it shouts ‘look at me’ so I’ve added a thick oversized polished silver frame, set it into a tall bezel added a chunky curb and topped it off with my hidden hallmark charm. 
Depending how the light catches it or what colour clothes you wear will dictate the super rich tones of this stone, from fresh ripe strawberries to juicy cherries or a vintage Bordeaux. Such a stunning palette. 
The pendant is roughly 79mm long from the top of the two rings to the tip, 38mm at the widest and 8.5mm deep. The carnelian itself is 53mm long. The whole necklace weighs in at a heavyweight 71.3g most of which is the silver weight. 
The chain is a compact link chunky curb which is 18” long and 5mm wide. It’s permanently attached to the pendant and connects with a dog clip fastening. I’ve hidden my trademark hallmark disc behind the stone setting.
