Hallmarked Silver Belcher Chain & Star Sapphire Sphere Fidget Necklace 24”

A nice and chunky belcher chain necklace with a very very special silver framed star sapphire sphere gemstone to create a stylish necklace with a modern and elegant look with some secret qualities. 
The chain is 24” long and 4mm thick and is an oval link belcher. It bears my full official London Assay hallmark on the tag next to the handmade hook clasp for that touch of class. 
The necklace weighs an amazing 53.6g. The silver is moulded around the middle of the sphere which moves around freely within the frame but is held very securely so won’t fall out. It’s 22.64mm in diameter. Very tactile indeed. All topped off with my anchor shackle bail. Total length of the pendant including the bail and ring is 46.12mm so nice and substantial. 
There is something very exciting and unique about star sapphires. They are quite rare, difficult to come by and very expensive. This is only the second one I have had. They have many inclusions which cause light to refract inside in different ways to create the illusion of a star being hidden inside. Star sapphires are actual sapphires and uncommon.
