Assay Hallmarked Silver Long Link Chain & Ice Seaglass ‘Rosebud’ Fidget Lariat

I have twinned together my oblongs chain with my rosebud charm in a lariat style to create this contemporary twist on two of my classic pieces. 
The oblongs chain is one of my newer designs. Each oblong is roughly 34mm by 5mm, each made from hand forged round wire that’s 1mm in diameter. Each link is soldered together one by one to keep everything secure. It’s something a little bit different to a normal link chain. It bears my full official London Assay hallmark on the tag at the back and fastens with a conventional lobster claw clasp. 
The necklace weighs 20g and the chain is 22” long with the addition of two additional links fixed at the central point to form the ‘Y’ of the lariat. On the end is attached the ‘rosebud’, an ice coloured seaglass marble surrounded by solid silver to represent a beautiful stylised rose. The silver is shaped around the actual marble holding it in place but allowing it to move freely within in a very tactile way. The lariat and charm have a drop of roughly 95mm and the diameter of the rosebud is 17mm.
