Assay Hallmarked Silver Sand Cast ‘Yorkshire Rose’ & 20” Belcher Chain Necklace

I love creating pieces of jewellery from things you might not expect and sand casting is the perfect way of immortalising things in solid silver that would ordinarily be overlooked. This rose, possibly Yorkshire or Lancashire or just a pretty Tudor rose was part of a cheap alloy factory template that I reimagined into something much more special by using delft clay to create a mould to allow me to replicate the design I had created in solid heavyweight recycled sterling silver. 
The pendant comes complete with a nice 20” belcher chain which compliments it perfectly. The pendant is 45mm long including the bail, 32mm in diameter and 5.22mm thick. It bears my full official London Assay hallmark on the tag at the back and fastens with a traditional lobster claw clasp. The total weight of the necklace is 43g including the chain so it’s a wonderful striking piece. 
As with all my cast items each piece is made from solid silver, each is unique and any blemishes add to the character of the piece and is completely one of a kind.  I have left the reverse of the pendant in a brushed matt finish to enhance the beauty of the front.
