Assay Hallmarked Silver Spinning Sphere Fidget & 22” Trombone Chain Necklace

Assay Hallmarked Silver Spinning Sphere Fidget & 22” Trombone Chain Necklace

£170.00Price

You’ve all seen that lots of my jewellery collections include gem spheres that I turn into my spinning sphere necklaces with lots of thick fine silver moulded just around the middle of the sphere. This is a process I have used for setting marbles for many years. It allows the sphere to move completely freely within its frame but is held very securely so won’t fall out. It’s very tactile with plenty of movement. The perfect fidget and stress reliever. BUT. This time I am going one step further by using a one off handmade hollow sterling silver ball.

Follow me on Instagram to see how I made the ball and this necklace. The ball is roughly 22mm in diameter, I’ve intentionally given the ball a brushed satin effect as a contrast to the heavily polished setting.

The bail is my anchor shackle bail. The total length of the pendant including the bail is 42.3mm. This necklace is stamped with my full London assay hallmark on tag near the clasp and I’ve stamped my Paul Stephenson Jewellery brand along the frame around the marble which is such a unique and extra special detail.

The necklace weighs a total of 27.3g including the weight of the sphere. The pendant is permanently attached so the centre point of the trombone chain which I have also handmade using a series of long links alternating three small rings. The long links are roughly 20mm x 4.5mm wide. The chain is 22” from end to end.

If you would like to see how I make this style of necklace and other similar ones then please give me a follow on Instagram @paulstephensonjewellery and enjoy watching the process reels I share.

The necklace will be sent in my signature gift box.
