Assay Hallmarked Sterling Silver Elongated Ovals Chain Necklace 23”

This completely handmade solid silver chain incorporates a selection of individually soldered elongated ovals alternated with small circle links which secure with my bespoke hook fastener. It’s a sophisticated everyday chain which bears my full official London Assay hallmark on the tag near the clasp. 
It’s a contemporary necklace with a nice weight to it that looks pretty worn on its own but just as nice when layered up with other pieces of jewellery or adorned with an oversized pendant. I do also have this style chain on my website with sone pendants which will give you an idea of how that option would look. 
The links are made from hand forged round wire which is 1.5mm in diameter and each elongated link is roughly 23.5mm long by 7mm wide. The circle links are 9.2mm in diameter. 
 
The chain is 23” long and weighs 30g.

Handmade by me in my North Yorkshire studio. Being handmade rather than off the shelf and mass produced each link is unique and one of a kind.
