Assay Hallmarked Sterling Silver ‘Raw’ Flat Link Chain & Seaglass Necklace 17”

‘Raw’ is an elegant and heavyweight necklace incorporates a series of interlocking flat links that each have their own beauty, I have intentionally left subtle whispers of the making process to highlight and capture the heart and soul of the piece for the wearer to enjoy over and over. 
The links are individually formed from 2mm silver wire that’s been hand forged and shaped and joined together to create this short chain which is stamped with my full official London Assay hallmark on a tag that’s shaped to compliment the links and finished off with a matching clasp. Adorning the centre of the chain is a chunk of genuine seaglass with all the trademark marks and personality perfect for the concept of the chain. The seaglass is generously wrapped around the edge with thick fine silver making the most of the colour and the endless mesmerising shades it will give in the light. 
The chain is 17” long, the seaglass is roughly 26.4mm long, 20.09mm at the widest and 8.35mm thick. Nice and bold. And in total the necklace weighs a sumptuous 38.7g. It’s like no other chain I have made. Each link is roughly 27mm long, 8.3mm wide and 1mm thick. It’s a nice modern link chain with a cool seagem.
