Birmingham 1903 Silver 15” Slim Albert Chain, Tbar & Dog Clip

My passion for precious metals and my journey as a silversmith along with my love of history has allowed me to curate a special collection of Antique and Vintage finds that I cannot wait to share. 
I have a particular affection for Victorian Silver but some pieces extend into Edwardian and early 20th century. 
The chain is 15” in length and is slightly narrower width than I usually have available which is roughly 6.84mm  so still very substantial. Unlike most other Alberts this is not graduated so it’s the same width the whole way along. It comes complete with its original swivel T bar which is 36.74mm long, Hallmarked Birmingham 1903. Makers mark CE&FDLD for Constantine & Floyd. Each link is also stamped with the lion passant albeit most are worn and illegible. The dog clip is also original marked SS, it allows you to clip into the Tbar link to form a chain with a nice classic choker style look. Total weight is roughly 50.6g
Whilst this is a vintage pre loved piece and does have age related characteristics these only add to the charm of it. It has been polished and all damaged or loose links have been repaired or replaced to ensure the piece can be worn without worrying that it will become detached or lost.
