Hallmarked Silver, Alternating Seafoam Seaglass & Belcher Necklace 18”

Seafoam coloured seaglass is my all time favourite. There is something about the tone that mixes sky with sea and the feeling of summer sun on your face. 
This is a collection of five perfectly sea worn bits of glass which are permanently set equidistant along a chunky belcher chain. Each piece of seaglass is framed just around the edge with shiny silver allowing natural light to make the most of the glass and the colour. 
There is something very special about creating heirloom jewellery and recycling seaglass at the same time. The glass in this necklace is roughly 25mm x 20mm x 9mm but each piece of seaglass is one of a kind, different shapes, sizes and textures, tumbled around in the sea for years and years to give it its amazing worn surface. 
The necklace is 18” long in total. The chain elements are 4mm thick and is an oval link belcher. With the addition of a handmade hook clasp for that contemporary look and topped off with my trademark hallmark tag. 
The necklace weighs an amazing 41.8g of which 22.5g is silver so the whole thing is nice and substantial and sophisticated.
