Hallmarked Silver, Seafoam Seaglass, Chunky Oval Link Statement Necklace 18”

Im back to my seaglass for this very extravagant and bold statement necklace that celebrates how beautiful seaglass actually is. I’ve had this design in my head for far too long so I wanted to finally make the idea a reality. The five pieces of seafoam seaglass complement each other in colour and shape and the graduation of size I’ve chosen with the biggest piece in the centre doing its best to attract all the attention. I’ve used my chunky ovals chain and the addition of a couple of reticulated spacer discs to add an extra dimension and symbolise rippling water on a sandy beach. I’m overjoyed with how this ‘little’ piece has turned out. 
It has an overall length of 18”. The chain is made from 2mm thick hand forged silver wire and each link is roughly 8.8mm x 21.54mm, each is soldered closed to keep everything secure. All the metal elements are solid silver and completely handmade. Fully hallmarked on my trademark tag attached to the hook clasp at the back which is also handmade. The silver weight alone is roughly 46g. Total weight of the necklace is 74.6g
The large seaglass at the front is is 39mm x 28.39mm x 7.69mm. All the seaglass is double bezel set so the silver just frames the edge of the glass so light can pass through and accenture the colour and texture.
