Hallmarked Silver, Seafoam Seaglass & Giant Bolt Clasp Belcher Necklace 18”

This large seafoam blue piece of seaglass from the Durham coastline certainly ticks all the boxes for me and my big and bold style. It’s eyecatching in every respect and like my other creations it certainly lends itself to a statement necklace so what better way to showcase it than to wrap lashings of highly polished silver just around the edge, topped off with my new style bullring bail and marry it all up with a huge bolt clasp and chunky belcher chain. The bezel is stamped with my Paul Stephenson Jewellery branding to add an extra special and unique touch. 
The seaglass is one of a kind, tumbled around in the sea for years and years to give it its amazing worn surface. It’s 36.08mm x 24.87mm x 17.07mm. It’s bezel set so the silver just frames the edge of the glass so light can pass through and accenture the colour and texture. The total length of the pendant including the bail is 56.27mm.
The chain is 18” long and 4mm thick and is an oval link belcher. With the addition of the large 18.2mm diameter bolt clasp fastener it’s a very modern piece especially with my trademark assay hallmarked tag which I have incorporated into the actual chain in a contemporary way. 
The necklace weighs an amazing 47g so the whole thing is nice and substantial and whilst it’s designed as a whole piece the pendant can be removed so it can be worn on different chains and similarly the chain can be worn on its own or with other adornments.
